"Don’t stay here. It’s not worth it even if it was free"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine. Staff restocked often. The bathroom was clean.The bad news: There seemed to be a homeless element when I circled around back. There were 15-20 people milling around back late afternoon. The ceiling had a huge water stain. There were no linings in the trash buckets. Furniture was stained. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the floors got slippery. The elevators are in an inconvenient place. Too expensive for the location which is extremely noisy."

"Horrible from beginning to end. No towels to shower and took over 5 hour from front desk to get some, dirty cups/utensils in room kitchen, told to get ice from bar but nobody was ever there. Phone didn’t even work properly and calling front desk option inactive. Ruined our Romaric getaway."

"Quick last minute stay here. Affordable price for the area. Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. What stood out though was the Awesome customer service from one person on staff handling everything."

"Historic and beautiful property. Front desk staff appeared clueless on their job roles and what to do. Whenever they said my room was ready, we went to a room that was obviously still occupied with another guests clothes and property clearly visible and room was a wreck. Went back downstairs Got another room. It was a a double bed room. Very small. Water temps in the shower would go from scalding to ice intermittently. Low water pressure. Beds were not comfortable at all. For over $400 a night I expected much more. I understand and treasure all of the history and nostalgia, but the staff and management need to definitely step it up. Very disappointing stay."
