"Overlook lodge is a 5-minute drive away from the main historic inn building. Rooms themselves were clean, comfortable and well-maintained. There was a strong musty odor in the common room of the lodge but not in the room. While it was a pleasant setting in the woods, there was not much of an "overlook"."

"This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Staff very helpful and got us in a bit early to the biggest standard room I have stayed in. Very clean and open hotel with lots of gathering space in the lobby and bar area. Breakfast was fantastic and full service with more options than I would have ever expected, and the staff kept it very clean. Planning a getaway hiking trip to Fishkill with friends just to stay in hotel again. Lots of eatery options within a mile or 2 and many more in the nearby river town. Staff was great durning our stay!"
