"We stayed at the property for 3 days. From our room the view was great, a very nice view of the pyramids from a 14th floor. They also have a great view at the roof top. Since the beginning the staff was great, great customer service and very friendly. The owner greeted us and we saw him often. They offer a complimentary breakfast that represents very well the local menu. The area is noisy and not very clean but is part of staying in a real local neighborhood and has many walkable food choices...

"Yes the air conditioning worked. There were good restaurants around that the staff guided us to, but we ate in our room because it was so nice and private and the staff brought in restaurant food for us that we ordered. We were able to walk to the museum and the pyramids were a short taxi ride away. They booked us an expert at Saqqara and he was the best. We also had a juccuzi in our room. GREAT hotel and staff. "

The car from the airport wasn’t there to pick us up, the room we paid for wasn’t available to us on the first night (we were refunded the difference), the hotel is new but the bathroom fixtures and cupboards didn’t work properly. The power was cut by the hotel staff at 10am one day and wasn’t put back on until several hours later. There was no explanation of why or warning that it would happen or when it would come back on.
