"The booking with the rooms explanation and photos is misleading. No window as indicated …the food isn’t great. There’s better options in the area with similar price. However the front desk staff and drivers are really nice and friendly! For them I give 5 stars but the actual hotel is in rough shape."

I felt very safe as the hotel was across the street of the police station but what really stood out is how protective the staff was of being a solo female traveler. The staff was very accommodating with every request I had. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. "

"This hotel is the perfect base to explore the Pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. We used their personalised entrance service to go directly to the pyramids without the usual entrance way which was nice - it’s not a glamorous entrance mind, but it’s very convenient. We also added the additional tour guide option which made exploring the site much more efficient as well as learning a few extra nuggets of local knowledge and historical insight. The hotel itself is tucked away from the rest of Cairo in its own compound so was surprisingly quiet. The grounds themselves are well maintained with lovely lawns and water features for the birds. The food was good, though if you’re vegan the lunch menu was poor. That being said, the tomato sauce and pasta was actually the best I’ve had pretty much anywhere so that’s a plus! The Indian restaurant on site however had amazing vegan options and we ordered too much because the portion sizes were pretty big! The room itself was clean and tidy and had everything we’d need - but the internet connection is terrible. Better to rely on your own 5G connection."

"This hotel in located in a fantastic location with a roof terrace that has one of the closest views of the sphinx in front of the pyramid of Pyramid of Khafre. The hotel is great locations to stay when visiting Cairo a Memphis and the new Grand Egyptian Museum. The hotel is only yards away from the Sphinx entrance to the Giza Plateau. The room I stayed in was clean with a comfy firm clean bed. The room had a water heater so hot water was on tap when you needed it and a good shower which is essential after a busy day visiting the sights. The air conditioning was excellent. The breakfast is a typical Egyptian one with excellent examples of the local produce but not a European continental breakfast. The team are so helpful and could not have done any more to make me feel welcome and safe. This is not the Hilton (so don’t expect there standards) but a fantastic basic budget hotel with one of the closest roof terrace views of the Pyramids of Giza."
