"It was great! Clean. Very polite staff. Felt safe in their parking garage and felt secure with my vehicle. Workout room was busy. Maybe a bigger gym would be nice. Restaurant looked appealing though didn’t get to try it. Pool also looked awesome too but didn’t prepare with swim trunks. Price is excellent for the experience. Would come again"

"The hotel is in a great location Union square.. lots of nearby things to do. You can pick up thr hop on hop off buss..5 minute walk. The cable car stop at the same location..it was a very maintained hotel. However no restaurant or bar or food of any kind. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone."

"Travelodge in South San Francisco either needs some serious money for renovation, or it needs to be demolished. Absolutely terrible stay that I had to cancel early due to hotel issues. The room provided was literally 20 feet from the 101 freeway, as are most of the rooms, so I hope you like loud traffic noise all hours of the night. The freeway noise wasn't too noticeable because the in room air conditioning unit was so old and noisy with constant rattles, you'd be hard pressed to hear anything else unless you had the TV volume cranked. The paint in the room was peeling and stained in multiple places, as well as the furniture being extremely scuffed and dirty. I even found dried blood on the edges of one of the tables. The TV cable box and cables are left hanging from the wall mounted TV without a proper mount. The bathroom area near the toilet smelled strongly of an open sewer, and the shower was missing the handles for the sliding door, which were obviously broken and left unrepaired. The bed wasn't much better, with stains and four tiny "pillows" that were the size of couch pillows, and about as comfortable as a pillowcase stuffed with dirty laundry. I ended up checking out early due to the bed giving me a rash on my body, and the EXTREMELY OVERWHELMING smell of cigarette smoke baked into the room. After a few hours it started giving me a headache and almost made me sick to my stomach. Absolutely terrible hotel. Avoid at all costs."
