"Great stay! Very accommodating "

"My family and I always enjoy staying at Residence Inn—it’s our top choice whenever we visit Berkeley. The hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the campus and very close to BART, with plenty of shops and great restaurants nearby. The room is very well organized, the bathroom is spotless, and the bed is perfectly comfortable—not too soft or too firm. Having a kitchen in the room is extremely convenient and makes our stay even better. I especially want to mention the front desk service—Georgina is amazing! She is extremely attentive, friendly, and always provides professional and thoughtful service. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! Great location with clean, spacious rooms and the best front desk service. Highly recommend this place—we will definitely be back!"

"I was booked into decent room (Hotelscom customer) received in the past as hotel.com customer. It is usually on low level near air conditioning. My room had no curtain only sheer curtain. The lights from business across street were glaring. and was changed to a suite at 2am.Probably no other room. I did not choose breafast with room. I have not liked food at Sonesta in past and expensive."

"Words that come to mind, quaint, comfy, quiet. Not a large chain hotel but a small friendly one. Will use again if in the area. When I woke up after a good nights sleep I kept thinking I was at home, doesn't happen to me very often at hotels."
