5 The Granary
5 The Granary"House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The heater in ground floor got very loud noise after few hours central heating been turn on. Need to turn up the heating,(e.g. from 0 to 2, from 2 to 3)to stop the noise. There were high pitch "beeps" from ground floor which woke everyone in house at 3am and 3:30am on the first night. Sounds like the smoke detector but we were not sure. However,...

Top Kendal Hotel Reviews
The Gateway Hotel
"Fabulous little hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff."
Hare & Hounds
"The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the staff always happy to help and the location just off the A590 was perfect for exploring the whole Lake District. My only rejoinder was that the stairs to the rooms are a little challenging for someone like me who is mobility impaired. Additional banisters and/or handles would greatly help but I managed overall and we were very happy with our stay. Evening meals were exceptional too. I would rank the Hare and Hounds in Levens as being in the top 1% of bed and breakfast inns I have stayed in out of maybe 150 visited in he past 5 years. Thoroughly recommended!"
Stonecross Manor Hotel
"Building really nice, pool should of been heated but wasn't at time of stay, sauna and steam room not working, but only used pool. Only gripe really was the road noise if you get a front facing room.menu was a bit restricted, need a good burger on it. Staff were great ,knowledgable about area. Good access via bus outside the hotel to lakes . Would go again ."
Watermill Inn & Brewing Co
"Excellent stay, staff were always very helpful and pleasant, lovely environment."
Days Inn by Wyndham Kendal Killington Lake
"Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great advice and what to see and do locally. Perfect location by the motorway but beautiful scenery next to the lake and hills. Room & building was a little tired but perfectly fine for a dog friendly stay."
Gilpin Bridge Inn
"Stayed here one night on our way home to Scotland. The property is easy to find with plenty free parking. Easy check in with helpful, friendly staff. The room was very clean, tea and coffee in the room, everything you need. We had a meal here in the evening and it was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldnโt hesitate to recommend the Gilpin Bridge Inn."
GLENHOLME Kendal

The Lakeland Kendal Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW
"It was so nice very friendly staff nice and clean see you again x"
The Lodge Rooms @ Carus Green
"Lovely location and clean room . Staff friendly if your late or around 5pm just go straight to the bar to get key . Only complaint was to no mirror in room and the guy who checked us in didnโt know if we had breakfast but thatโs no major issue . Iโve heard food is great but also Kendal is really close ."
