Overall an excellent stay. A problem with the original room at check in was resolved promptly and to our satisfaction. The breakfasts were plentiful, with a vast choice and a highlight. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was excellent too. The hotel location was ideal, walkable to the Marina bay sands area, Raffles hotel and several shopping centre.

Always good to return to The Stamford, it's my favourite hotel for the Singapore F1 GP. Good facilities, the Skai Bar and restaurant are very good, with excellent views across the city. The room was spacious, good balcony. Only minor issue was the time it took for hot water to come through, especially with the rain shower. The shopping centre attached has a good range of shops and LOTS of food places to try. I recommend this hotel and will definitely be using it again for next year's GP.

Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, excellent staff throughout the hotel, rooms were spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The location was convenient for several of the sites and activities we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was super attentive and helpful. The property had a nice airy feel to the place which in Singapore is a rarity as all hotels are high rises with buildings on all sides . What I did not like was the rooms were small And so were the bathrooms . Very tight squeeze for a luxury hotel . Upgrades are difficult to come by in terms of points as their loyalty program has its limitations as the brand geographical spread is limited . The hotel was amazing. We were on the 11th floor. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was large and the bathroom clean and spacious. Complementary tea and coffee in the room as well as a tap with filtered water. The service always exceptional. As Expedia customers, we got access to the Executive Club with free drinks, afternoon tea and evening snacks.

I had a lovely stay here and would stay again. My room was very comfortable and spacious with excellent housekeeping. The staff were warm and welcoming. The location is a little out of the way but a bus stop is within 10 minutes walk and the island bus service is excellent and cheap and easy to use with a credit card tap in/out system.

Great hotel, right by the Indian Quarter

Sofitel Singapore City Centre is a glorious starting place for exploring the city state. Right in the heart of China Town, it is accessible to various historic sites no less than Talok Ayer. The staff at Sofitel are brilliant, approachable and made our stay that much extra special. Special commendation to the reception staff, the lounge staff who were super helpful and of course the staff at the wonderful Racines restaurant.

Such a sweet hotel which is in a gorgeous and peaceful spot but very conveniently located for all of Singapore. Staff are so helpful, great beds and enjoyed the pools. The gym is fantastic but not easy to find first time round! Thanks for a great stay.

A really lovely place to stay. Excellently located just out of the city centre and close to public transport links, it was very convenient for access to all of Singapore's 'must see' attractions. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and well-appointed, although the rooms are somewhat small, so you will need to be a little creative with storage, especially if you are staying for more than a few days! We had a short but excellent stay at the Standard. It is a very modern and well designed hotel with some great amenities including an outdoor pool. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the shopping area on Orchard Road which is a nice touch. However it is conveniently situated and only a short walk to the shopping. The staff were all excellent and we can't wait to return.

Room and facilities were perfect for what we wanted - and location fairly close to the main attractions. We arrived very early and they gave us complementary early check in at around 11am (instead of 2pm) which saved us from jet lag and made our holiday!! Rooftop pool was a bonus.Thank you.
