My only concern was the fact i book as ####Mr#### was told i booked into a female dorm instead of a male dorm So a little disappointing i was charged and extra $10 Singapore dollars for correction. "It’s such a shame because the staff here are extremely helpful and welcoming but this hostel is not clean at all. I’ve stayed at many hostels in Singapore but I cannot recommend this one. Beds are very uncomfortable, no windows, toilets and showers are in same room so toilet is constantly soaked, many insects crawling walls. Once again, it’s such a shame this hosel is like his as owners are so kind."

"You get what you pay for. Beds have no privacy, blanket is incredibly thin, there's little to no sound isolation, and to be honest the rooms smell kind of bad. Lots of disrespectful backpacker-type tourists, many of whom don't respect the rules (including taking off shoes). Would like to see rules better enforced, but it seems they don't have the staff for it. The good things are proximity to bus station and some decent restaurants nearby. "beddings were clean, staff were kind and closely located to mrt station. It was tricky to find the hostel at first coz there was only a small signage on the door to the 2nd floor. The building is quite old so I have to say dont expect much for the facility. Be aware that you can hear train arriving and leaving from the hostel."

"I and my friend stayed at this hotel about 2 nights, overall, it's good hostel. Nice staff, clean room, clean bathroom/toilet, near MRT (about 5 minutes walk). However, the reception is only available from 7a.m to 12p.m, so it was difficult for us to check out at 6 a.m. In addition, the light in room is not enough bright (only one light bulb in room)."
