"We truly enjoyed our stay at Volcano Ranch. It is super convenient to Volano Park, but also a gem unto itself. The animals are delightful and our room overlooking the pond was super warm and cozy on a cool, rainy day. Every detail has been considered to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. "Kelly was a wonderful host. Since she had cancellations while we were there (Jan 2026) she upgraded us to the master with ensuite. There are 3 bedrooms in total. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were all kinds of snacks and coffee, tea, milk available. Kelly made lovely breakfast for us each morning and was so accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It is about 30 minutes drive from Hilo. You do need a car. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this B&B. Thank you Kelly and Roger for a great stay as we explored the Hilo area."
