"The room was more than expexcted. Airy a big ceiling fan and 2 additional if needed!!. I wish we could have stayed longer then 1 night. The beds were cozy and the amenities that were available, wow a small kitchen!!!. Bright, clean tidy and the staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful especially Fred🌝. "We stayed five days here on our first trip to Big Island and fell in love with Hilo, a huge part of that was this gorgeous property full of lovely animals and livestock, fruit trees, and the kindest most responsive hosts. We even made friends with a lovely couple, also guests at this property who return here year after year (we can see why). It is conveniently located to reach Hilo downtown as well as to see waterfalls, lava caves, beaches, and the volcano. It is private, safe, quiet and really well-maintained. It is also extremely spacious, clean beautifully decorated. It had the most room of all the places we stayed on this trip to Oahu and Big Island. Bravo to Garvin and Laura Goode. You guys are amazing! "

"We weren't able to check in during the listed check-in times, but Tasha was able to accommodate us. After discovering all the restaurants in town were shut down before our arrival, it was a relief to find a couple snacks and fruits in a bowl waiting for us on arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. The obly opportunity for improvement would bebetter signage feom the road. "
