"This was a fantastic and comfortable hotel directly in the lower east side and adjacent to China Town and little Italy. The decor was fun and there was plenty of seating in the lobby and outside. The roof top bar was elegant with a top-notch view. The hotel is Subway adjacent. The destination fee includes a credit for $20 at the coffee shop, which serves excellent pastries and really good coffee. Regarding the rooms, I have stayed in NYC multiple times and the rooms were comparably small but very well designed. This one had storage underneath the ENTIRE bed, which exceeded some of the other small closets I have seen. The beds were so comfortable that my whole family slept really well and we even took pictures of the pillow brand to try to find them later. The inside of the rooms included a lot of light, both naturally as well as through stylish lamps, and the decor in the rooms goes way beyond the typical lower price motel. Another thing to note is that there are so many elevators that are quite large that we didn't have a lot of elevator wait time as I have found in another NYC hotels at this price range. Finally, I appreciated that there was a loading zone for ride shares up front with a family member in a wheelchair. All in all, the Moxy will likely be my go-to for my next trip to the city!"
