"Was cheap and cheerful. Small bed but was fine for a night. Reception had free earplugs etc and lovely Staff. Would stay again Only bad part was the closest parking we could get was a 10 Min walk "

"Great spot right in the centre of old town. Buses and trains super close by which is convenient. Rooms are reasonably clean, but the chill zone needs a bit of TLC as it has an interesting smell. Shared showers are really clean for what I expected, a little small but for a hostel it's expected. Would stay here again "

They also shy away from the idea of the need to share a bathroom and toilet with others. However, our experience in this hostel was very pleasing as they also offered private bedrooms and the added extra of using a well equipped kitchen. "This is a nice place to stay in Edinburgh if you are intending to be out most of the time and don't need a fancy hotel! It's very much a hostel but it's in a quieter area of the city with lots of nice cafes and brunch places around. Easy 20 min walk from the station. Clean enough but it is an old town house so not immaculate! "
