We stayed here to celebrate my husbands special birthday. From the moment we drove up and saw the impressive ship we knew we were in for a special treat. Everything about this place is incredible. The staff were so helpful and very welcoming.
You helped make my husbands birthday treat a very special memory.
Thank you !

Stayed here as my daughter was catching an early morning flight the following day.
Good value and very comfortable accommodation. Very clean throughout.
£12 for parking but that's airports for you.

I can't fault the hotel, the staff, the bar, the food or the price.
Staff were young but knowledgable. Food was simple but delicious. The bar had inventive twists on drinks (Negronis with port replacing Martini Rosso? A hot chocolate with Remy Martin?)
If you're looking for a hotel that is bang in the centre of Edinburgh, look elsewhere. This is in the beautiful area of Stockbridge, 20min walk or 5 min bus ride from Princes St.
We'll stay here again. Loved it.

This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism.
Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight. There is enough room for these to be slightly...

Hotel and Spa staff were very welcoming and helpful. Chef was amazing cooked a special vegan meal for my daughter each night we ate in hotel, as there was nothing suitable for her on menu.
Room was comfortable and we had everything we required (only feedback I would give is that it would have been more useful to have a couple more sockets available). Loved the spa and we were very happy with the treatments we had. We also enjoyed the pool facilities (hydro, sauna and steam). The surroundings...

The Murrayfield Hotel is the gem of Edinburgh. I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights. It’s a quick bus ride to Edinburgh Castle. In a great old neighbourhood of Edinburgh with excellent local shops, a few restaurants and cafes nearby.
The room. My room had very high ceilings with the original plaster work. The hotel is a collection of beautiful heritage stone mansions. The room had been recently renovated with very nice furniture, TV and a comfortable big bed. The bathroom again recently...

I wasn't sure what to expect but this Holiday Inn is one of the best run hotels i have stayed in. I mean everything just gels here. The staff are quite honestly astoundingly good. From walking in the door they were warm and friendly and just so welcoming. The room was spotless, including tea/coffee making things. And the breakfast is wonderful. 10/10 to all of you we will be back for sure.

If you are looking for a hotel away from the noise and bustle of the centre this is an excellent choice. The condition and decoration in the hotel is excellent and the staff are very friendly.
The hotel is split into two buildings, so did require going outside to get from one to the other for the dining area. There are a lot of steps and no lift, so bear that in mind if you are on the top floor, although the staff do offer to take your cases up.
The top floor room I was in had a good and...
