"In the 'real' Shanghai beneath the high-rise buildings, seeing people as they go about their day, back from main roads. AC was a it strong, especially in the bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Tao and May. Some maps/brochures/helpful tourist information would be good. I would recommend this place to anyone."

"Room is average, didn't even have a handwash liquid; staff was terrible, no greetings, on the phone all the time while checking in...Construction starts at 7am right next to the hotel building, and finish real late. Just won't book here again."
