The staff truly made our experience special—they were incredibly friendly, professional, and always went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. "Hotel Histórico Central was truly the heart of our Mexico City adventure. The location couldn’t be better, just 2–3 blocks from the Zócalo and surrounded by incredible historical sites. Tour buses to outside excursions and the Touribus all meet right in that area, making it the perfect home base for exploring. The hotel itself felt clean, elegant, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff was exceptional; warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us navigate the city. Arturo and Jair were absolute standouts. Their kindness, attentiveness, and top tier service made every meal feel special. The breakfast service food was good. The menu had several options, it was made to order, hot, savory and it was safe. Tip, ask for salsa! It was delicious. One of the biggest highlights was the 24 hour “free” food service. It was unbelievably helpful after long days in the city. Besides breakfast, throughout the day there were sandwiches, pizza, soups, salads, and more. Many nights we ended our day with a light dinner right at the hotel. My father especially loved coming down each evening for a sandwich, soup, salad, and hot tea to unwind after exploring. Every night, returning to the hotel felt like coming home. We felt safe, cared for, and genuinely treated like family. This hotel played a huge part in making our trip unforgettable. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Histórico Central for an amazing experience. We can’t wait to return."
