"This cottage is ideally located 4 minutes' walk halfway between the bus garage and the historic area of Hexham, and just 10 minutes from the station. There are plenty of eating places and takeaways nearby and a convenience store just a couple of minutes seat. The cottage itself was immaculate, well-equipped and beautifully furnished, with high quality towels and linen and toiletries. To correct an earlier review, there is a potato peeler. The only possible problem for anyone with walking difficulties is that there are 6 quite deep steps up to the front door."

"The kitchen had no heating, was freezing trying to make food, towards end of stay a leak from the boiler appeared. Just was a nightmare with heating not having in every room etc. kitchen was full of condensation on walls running down etc. didn't enjoy the stay"
