"This is a very authentic Japanese hotel and appeared to be mostly Japanese tourists. The dinner buffet had very loud live performance and the audience was definitely into it. There's an onsen at this hotel and a pool. The pool closes early and opens late so heads up. We didn't really pay attention to where the hotel was. It's about a 45 minute train from the Nara Park, we may have booked a closer place if we'd known, but for the experience of staying at this hotel it was pretty much worth...
"Great spot for staying a night or two directly in the Nara Park. This allowed us to get up early and have basically the whole park to ourselves before the tourist groups arrive. Would definititely recommend it!
The room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and the location was perfect."
"This hotel is beautiful, with comfortable and clean rooms, wonderful public baths and great service. It is just minutes away from Horyuji temple. We would definitely stay there again, hopefully for more than 1 night!"

"This hotel is in the heart of Osaka. Close to dining, shopping and transportation. The room fit a family of 6 with no problems. The laundry room is great. The guest lounge offers soda, sake, beer and other mixed drinks free of charge nightly. Staff is kind and helpful. We have no complaints. Highly advise familoes to stay here"
"Property was amazing! If you are looking for a great luxury getaway that is affordable, this is it. Wished they communicated the benefits and amenities more, but I believe this was simply language barrier."
"Enjoyed our time at this property as it had everything along with all of the amenities. As a family of 5 the late night ramen from 9 to 10pm was a hit! I was able to use the onsen 2 times during our 6 night stay (got back too late from universal and expo) and found it good. One large pool along with a small cold pool. Best time to go was during the ramen experience as there was little to know people in the onsen at that time. Hotel provided all of the toiletries that were needed (towels, comb, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner and body wash). Hotel also provided next day transfer services to our next location (Hakone) and the prices were quite reasonable. "
