"This was such a beautiful, luxurious and calm home for our stay in Nara. The park with bowing deer and magnificent giant Buddha are less than 5min walk away. The atmosphere is magical and calming.
The Kaiseke dinner is very authentic - there were several dishes my teen would not eat and some I didn’t either - but it was an experience worth having once. Otherwise best to go for a local tavern style restaurant or sushi place for a fraction of the price.
The public bath at the hotel is regular...
