"If you're looking to be right in the middle of the action, the location is perfect. Under a covered shopping area and minutes from Dotonbori with a convenient Lawsons next door. They have a strict no early checkin policy, so plan to wait if you arrive earlier than 3pm. I'm sure at one point the rooms were immaculate and this was a beautiful establishment - but the age is starting to show. Our room was dingy - from the old stains on the carpet to the fading of the mirror in the bathroom. But the staff was nice and it's very convenient to Namba train station - so you balance out what's most important to you. "

We came back to the room one night to a surprise slice of cake and a hand written card for my boyfriend's birthday, even though his birthday wasn't til 2 weeks later. "Overall a great stay. Besides the lobby smelling like cigarettes I’m sure it could be a smoking optional hotel. The lobby is completely self check in and self checkout. The breakfast buffet was great, huge selection of food and drinks. Would highly recommend booking the breakfast when staying totally worth it! Location was convenient for transportation and tourist attractions! Good price."
