Presently surprised the inside was better than the outside. Parking secure. A reasonable distance from the town centre to walk. You must see the light show on the Government buildings

Only a short walk to everything, Byward Market about 15 mins, Parliment Hill about 20 mins.
What I will say is that the hotel is on a lovely residential leafy street, however not far away & on the walk to the main areas there are a lot of homeless, some evidently on drugs. Whilst we felt a bit shocked at first, we didn't feel unsafe. Its...

Big rooms, comfy bed and breakfast had limited choices but it was fine. Excellent location with a 10 min walk to train station to take you into centre. Also easy access to highway if driving.
