"Little janky and dirty, but gets the job done!"

"Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. Everyone from the from lobby, to the daily cleaning staff was top notch. The rooms are on the smaller side but very clean. The food is presented well and tasty. The property is well kept and clean. The area is not the best and lots of shady people in the general area but that’s not the hotels fault. Overall, I recommend this hotel as it is centrally located in the downtown area. Easy to get around and wasn’t too long to SFO. I would stay again but not the safest area after dark. "

"ADA beds too high"

"This was a little different than expected but overall it was a good stay! Nice room, good tv clean sheets and shower- Just as pictured! The bar was closed downstairs and the neighbourhood is just on the cusp of the bad area but seemed to have some good night life and is in great walking distance to knob hill etc.The hotels a little outdated but the staff was extremely nice and helpful! And the hotel seemed popular. I think some rooms might be nicer than others. They don’t have safes in the room FYI but overall for the price I would recommend!"

"Every time I come to San Francisco. I stay here. Location is great. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. I wish Parking was included with stay. Parking prices are a little too high but other than that. Everything was great. Highly recommended."

"The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby was lovely and welcoming, and the bar had 80s music on Saturday evening. Breakfast at the restaurant was easy and tasty. The room was clean and comfortable beds, quiet at night too. Union Square location close to T station and BART. "

"Hotel was located in a very good and safe area. It was easy to walk or get a cab to go anywhere you wanted. It was priced very reasonable."
