"This property was honestly very disappointing and nowhere near worth the price we paid. The room and overall property feel extremely outdated, poorly maintained, and neglected. The room aesthetic was very old, dark, and dingy. The carpet felt old and dirty, the floors did not feel properly cleaned, and the entire place lacked the clean, fresh atmosphere you expect when traveling with family. Another odd issue was seeing open conference center chairs and random setup items sitting around parts of the property, which made the resort feel messy and unorganized rather than welcoming. Even the location is not enough to justify staying here. There are many other hotels literally right next to this property in the same area, so it’s not like this place offers some unique location advantage over better-maintained options nearby. The breakfast was honestly a joke and just added insult to injury. There was nothing fresh at all. Just store-bought muffins, terrible coffee, and a very bare setup overall. Not even something simple like fresh fruit was available. For the price being charged, the breakfast offering was extremely disappointing. The photos online make the property appear significantly nicer than it actually is. Staff and service were okay overall, but the condition of the hotel itself completely outweighed that. For the money, this is not a place I would recommend."

"The staff was excellent and everything was clean. Like other reviews say, it is extremely outdated. I stayed here close to 10 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit. The wifi was also not very good where our room was located making it difficult to do anything online. For its location in Gatlinburg, this place is still a great budget hotel!"
