"Internet was probably the poorest of the 10 hotels on our trip if you get app for town trolley it is easy to plan you trips to town. Great views on park side of hotel. Didn’t like the smoking by guests at door and waiting area for trolley. Wished the smoking was located elsewhere. The back patio facing park is beautiful but not well maintained but with a walk past pool area for serenity and views. Loved Gatlinburg. The young woman handling our breakfasts in dining area was one of the best servers and kind people we have ever dealt with. Liked the choice of menu or breakfast buffet."

"The ac wasn’t working so 1/2 hour later a maintenance guy came and took 1/2 and got it running. Seems like things aren’t great for a newer property."

"the rooms where very clean and Leann in the front office was extremely helpful with a Wi-Fi issue we were having in our room, we can't thank her enough the staff in the dining room and the maintenance crew were very polite and accommodating the view of the brook was very relaxing the one downfall was the pool was not heated and too cold to use but the waterfall in the pool was beautiful."

Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Water Park

"The Westgate Resort property is very beautiful and well maintained. There is no charge for parking but there is a daily resort fee, which we knew prior to booking. There is a pool, fitness center and spa on the property which we did not use but they looked very nice. We ate at the onsite restaurant called Southern Comfort. The breakfast menu was limited and the food was underwhelming, especially compared to the various breakfasts we enjoyed in Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. All the staff at the resort were friendly & helpful. The shuttle around the property and to the trolley stop was nice since walking the hilly property can be a challenge. Overall we enjoyed our stay!!"

"Decent place to lay your head for a night or 2. Nice pools, both indoor and out. Indoor pool could have been a little warmer. Little restaurant on site served a decent breakfast. Hotel sits right on the river, so it was a decent view. Balconies are really small...no room to sit, but there is a patio beside the hotel that where you can relax by the river. All in all, it was comfortable. It served it's purpose."
