"Rooms in Tokyo are small. Understandable, but room for empty suitcases or a hair dryer was tight. The staff were great, and so were the coffee shops and restaurants. The location was excellent too. Amenities were great and any issue that arose was handled immediately. 4-5 stars for sure"

"This hotel is steps from Shibuya Crossing and our room was on the 19th floor. Great view. The concierge selected a sushi restaurant for us and it was fantastic. The subway, Starbucks, shopping and restaurants are all close by."

"I stayed at this hotel in Tokyo and would give it a solid 4 stars. The rooms are on the smaller side, which is pretty typical for Tokyo, but they were clean, cozy, and comfortable. That said, they can feel quite tight if you have large luggage. Thankfully, there is a luggage storage area near reception, which is very helpful. One thing to note is that amenities like toothbrushes, razors, and other essentials are self-serve at the reception area rather than provided in the room. There’s also no bottled water in the room—instead, there’s a jug you can use to fill up water from another floor. It definitely has more of a “do-it-yourself” style setup. That said, the staff were very kind and helpful, which made the stay more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a good option if you’re okay with a more self-service experience and want a comfortable place to stay in the city."

"honestly one of my favorite hotels i’ve stayed in while in japan. we loved it so much we ended up staying by twice! if you plan on going out and partying in shibuya this is the PERFECT hotel! the whole street has clubs and bars and it’s always full of life! it’s great until you’re on a lower floor and trying to sleep. sometimes that’s all you will hear at night if you’re closer to the bottom. the rooms are a great size as well! you tend to get a lot more floor space than competitors."

"I was in another property from APA-ROPONGI Had a great experience, so decided to stay at the same chain! But APA Shibuya was very disappointing experience! Homeless come to the lobby to use the restroom since it was closed, he entered the elevator and peed on it! The main entrance should have a card entry only for guests. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY LIMITED! Overall, would stay at APA but not the Shibuya location."
