Therefore, I did not receive any services (room cleaning or bed change). Many long-term guests worked behind the counter, helped new guests, and cleaned the rooms. On the positive side, it was one minute away from FDR's house and library, and a little bit away from a new shopping center with a supermarket. The guy who checked us in was friendly. Breakfast was waffles and oatmeal; some fruit was out to grab. Hyde Park is not what we expected. The town looks tired. It needs updating in many areas, but at least there is new commerce coming in here and there."
