Highlight of my Japan trip! The generosity and kindness from the hosts and the luxurious hot spring bath made this a highlight of my trip. I cannot recommend Kokopelli House enough.

This Ryokan is basically perfect in every way.

A beautiful hotel. We had a large and well appointed bedroom on 6th floor with a balcony overlooking the stunning green landscape with a spring water bath and swing chair. Beautiful room. Nice hotel. Good amenities

It is the staff and surroundings that make this hotel. The reception team could not do enough for us. The hotel has an unusual Hawaiian vibe. Be aware that the hotel is dated cosmetically but nothing that dented our enjoyment. The breakfasts were amazing and the best we had during the whole trip.

Fabulous hotel! Staff were so welcoming and helpful. The property is very well maintained and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

It was a pleasure to stay in a Daiwa Roynet again - a "normal" room size (for a Westerner who feels cramped in the very small rooms typical of mid-range Japanese business hotels) and a window with a view made all the difference. I have stayed in a couple of Daiwa Roynet hotels now & found them to be of good quality & very comfortable. The Hamamatsu Daiwa Roynet is centrally positioned, very quiet, & the staff were very helpful.

Hotel is one block away from main train station which allows for easy rail and bus travel, access to excellent tourist information centre, plus numerous restaurants and shops. Breakfast in the hotel is very nice buffet style with more seating than other similar sized hotels. Nice downstairs area for relaxing. Room was clean and comfortable and was just the right size for me. One very minor downside though with my room was that the refrigerator was a little bit too noisy at times, so I had to...

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and I’m very pleased with their service. The hotel itself is excellent—comfortable, well-maintained, and welcoming.

The staff at the hotel were excellent in their professionalism and helpfulness. The facilities were as you’d expect in a budget hotel, providing pyjamas, hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, towels, razor, cotton buds, hairdryer etc. The beds were very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel. The only negative is that the decor is dated, but that can add a little something extra to your stay to be honest. Our room, 318, had a great view of Mt Fuji.

Very smooth check in. No questions asked or too many form to fill in. The staff was very helpful and cordial. The location is among one of the best in Shizuoka city, very convenient. The room was very clean. The continental breakfast was delicious too. My overall rating for this hotel is 5 stars because the staff was particularly kind and helpful. I have worked in hotels in the past and I can spot very easily the good and the bad points of a hotel just by looking at it, let alone staying in it....
