Lovely, clean spacious room with private hot tub overlooking the ocean. Really enjoyed the breakfast - between our party, we tried both the Japanese and Western breakfasts. It was a very authentic, enjoyable experience, with very attentive staff. Nice little pit stop on our drive from Kyoto to Tokyo 🙂

We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice. Points to note are that there are no other facilities other than your room and dining room which is accessed at set, pre agreed times. Early...

Highlight of my Japan trip! The generosity and kindness from the hosts and the luxurious hot spring bath made this a highlight of my trip. I cannot recommend Kokopelli House enough.

We really enjoy our stay in the hotel. Our room was clean and spacious, and bathroom was a top notch with views over the sea and mountains. The hotel is located on the isle and there is a very picturesque walk around it. You can also visit aquarium and marine park to see marine animals.

Loved it. Onsens were great, location is beautiful and staff were very lovely

Owner was absolutely amazing. The shuttle service he provided was a god send. He drops you off somewhere in the morning and picks you up in the evening. He has WhatsApp which is helpful. The dogs are very cute. We got upgraded to a bigger room. The laundry services were great too.

Our stay at Beachside Inn Shirahama was wonderful. It is such a friendly yet laid-back place with clean airy rooms and only a two-minute walk to the beach. The breakfast is tasty and the private hot baths are a fabulous bonus. Highly recommend!
