Even before we arrived, the wonderful Suzanne really went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay - not just with her but for the rest of our road trip around Jamaica. We cannot recommend highly enough. Lovely location, room, garden, hospitality.

If you love sand then Tensing Pen is not for you. If you love exotic, laid back and friendly and are pleased not to have to get the sand off everything then this extraordinary hotel woven in to the rocks with jumps and dives in to the clear blue ocean is SO for you.

To find this property in the heart of Mandeville was a joy. As the gate open and I was greeted by the security staff the place felt and looked safe. The reception staff were knowledgable and polite which made the information easy to understand. The staff at Half Moon went beyond expectations. We were given a fantastic room with the most beautiful sea view that I have ever had. Even the hairdryer in the room was as good as I have back home, and that is a first. There are plenty of facilities to do at Half Moon and so you would never be bored. I can honestly say that staying at this hotel was such an enjoyable experience. The whole experience was designed to make you feel relaxed and the thing that I will always remember, is when I asked the member of staff where the TV was and he said you didn't need one and explained the reason why by opening the doors to the balcony, and he was right.
