"Old and old farm family house that needs major renovations. The room was spacious but the entire premises were filled with junk new and old that had nothing in common. Lovely location. Staff was friendly."

"The staff was amazing and very helpful with planning our excursions (hotel pick-up for excursions was a great surprise). We had a balcony with an amazing view though we didn't spend much time in our room to enjoy it. The hotel is far from the main areas of Sorrento with shopping & dining, but the shuttle bus was very convenient and easy to use. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we're fortunate enough to ever make it back to Sorrento."

"Hotel Fontanella was wonderful. The views from the hotel are far superior than those in town, which was very nice. The room was nice overall, brought up to date in recent years to feel more modern. The only downside of the hotel was the lack of explanation of the amenities when we checked in, which made us look like idiots when we kept asking about certain things."
