"The Heartwood is a very nice new hotel right on the Vassar College campus. The decor throughout was modern yet warm. Our room was very nice, with a comfortable king bed, modern and spacious bathroom, nice decor and a large wall-mounted TV. Given how expensive other nice hotels were in the Poughkeepsie / New Paltz area, I highly recommend this hotel, as it was reasonably priced and quite nice, with friendly and attentive staff."
