"Overall, a great stay and was very consistent with what I remember when I stayed there many years and times before. The view was even better than I remember and the staff was equally as nice. The rooms could be updated though, but had enough modern amenities like USB and water filter. The bathroom was great with a separate shower and bath tub. The concierge staff was also helpful with suggestions especially Charlie. The breakfast was great, but we only did it on the last morning because in order to get the discount, we had to commit to it the night before. I do not know of another property that does this, and you actually lost revenue on the other two mornings by us going offsite to get breakfast somewhere else because we did not want to pay 30% or so more then the discounted price. If we are staying there and a Shangri-La member, we should get the discount, period. Other than that, it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend in return."

"Great location central for all tourist attractions within easy walking distance, 20 mins from the airport in taxi, check in was swift staff where really good James on reception especially supported our request for additional extended checkout and upgrades for breakfast and executive lounge access. rooms are well equipped, very clean, modern mattress a little to hard for my liking but comfortable, good internet throughout the hotel, tv (not that it was used much could have offered Netflix / Prime etc. otherwise limited to several channels. Staff great housekeeping super efficient and friendly. Overall good location, good quality hotel especially for the rates."

We had a medical situation that the staff managed very quickly and discreetly (emergency surgery!), and they followed up several times afterward to ensure our comfort. "I am quite surprised that heating system is available in this hotel, not in other neighbourhood hotels in the same Tsimshatsui area. The cold front hit Hong Kong during my stay and had a record low temperature. It's really a bonus for a frequent traveller as it exceeded my expectation, appreciated it very much."
