"This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The property is currently under construction, and it made the stay extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable. The main entrance was barely usable, and parking was a nightmare. There are very limited spots, yet they still charge $15 for parking — even though the back lot is under construction and partially unusable (there’s even a massive hole that looks like a sinkhole). Amenities were also unavailable. The beach access from the hotel was completely closed off with no clear explanation, and the jacuzzi was not only closed but visibly disgusting and green. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was very poor. The hallways had a strong, unpleasant odor, and the room itself did not feel clean. On top of that, the AC barely worked, making it uncomfortable to sleep, and the elevators felt unsafe and unreliable. Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing. Between the construction, lack of amenities, poor cleanliness, and additional fees, this hotel is not worth it at all. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else."

"Nice spacious room clean, the check in was not good no luggage carts, and one of the elevators does not work. It takes forever the one they do have operational is tiny. Only one couple with luggage can fit on the elevator at a time. Would prefer to have a coffee maker in the room like most hotels. With all that being said the rooms are nice, breakfast is good, coffee is above average. "

"We had a great stay, the only downfall was the water pressure in the shower. It was a trickle at best, at one point the water turned off completely during my shower! I'm thinking it was just peak time for water usage because the one day I showered in the afternoon it was great."

"Midcentury motel that’s seen a lot of hurricanes. Changes in travel tastes have left these mom-n-pop operations behind. The room is clean, quiet, and somewhat randomly appointed. If you absolutely need workout facilities or a free breakfast, go to a chain hotel and pay double or triple. If you want an ocean view and easy beach access, stay here. Note that Volusia County too almost all their parking lot—so if you are the sixth or seventh guest, you may have to pay the county fee just to park in front of your room."
