"Was so pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room (smelled like Clorox). I didn’t even spray every nook and cranny with disinfectant as is my usual habit (ha ha). Seriously the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Even the remote had been sanitized and sealed. View is amazing and we enjoyed the heated pools and hot tub each night. Staff was very helpful. "We loved the Maverick resort and will absolutely be back! Some of the resort was under construction, so we were understanding about that. Everything was super clean in our room, the lobby, and pool area. Staying on the beach is an amazing experience and we can’t wait to go back! Almost all the staff is wonderful, we only encountered one whom we avoided due to a bad attitude. Only hiccup was our fridge was not working upon arrival and it took a little over a day to get it fixed which ended up meaning we had to get a new one so I lost a couple hundred dollars worth of groceries I had brought with us. Nothing that will prevent us from returning though. Highly highly recommend this resort! "
