The room was absolutely gorgeous, so spacious and clean! We arrived and had two smoothies waiting for us and we were asked before arriving what milk we’d like for our coffees/tea. I loved that there was a coffee machine in the room, as well as a selection of teas to have. There was also a hand written note on the desk for when we arrived too. Absolutely will stay here again!

Spent a fantastic couple of nights at A Room with a View for Valentine's weekend and we were both over the moon with our choice! From the moment you walk in it felt welcoming and cosy, yet had all the mod-cons and more. The hotel is easy accessible via the eighth floor of the adjoining car park, which takes you straight into the hotel reception. The hotel is very clean and stylish, however we wasn’t aware that it was very high up. We was on the 16th floor and my son was very scared to look out of the bedroom window or go into the lift. The Mitre is a great old hotel, with loads of character. The location is fantastic for all amenities and the staff are very attentive. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a truly charming and welcoming place. We arrived in the very early hours, almost at dawn, having flown in to Gatwick on a slightly delayed flight. Booked in advance and having contacted the owner they arranged everything perfectly for us, including adding an extra bed which was made up in advance and looked very cosy. Perfect stay

I chose this hotel as its connected to the terminal which makes an early check-in very quick and easy. The hotel has been renovated since i last stayed and is much nice, comfortable, specious room and a very nice bathroom. The service in the bars and restaurant was excellent and good food and drink at reasonable prices. Excellent relaxing stay.

One of the nicest hotels i've stayed in.Beautiful rooms absolutely spotless and the comfiest bed ever. Brilliant location 2 minutes walk from the pier. Staff were so friendly and helpful we'll definitely be back.
