"Room was OK , not the biggest in the world but for the price was as expected. There was only a Plug socket one side of the bed so I couldn't use my phone and charge overnight with it handy. Hairdryer didn't work - not the end of the world but all appliances should be checked every time the room is prepped in my opinion."

"The check in staff were excellent and very helpful. And the rooms are extremely clean. We got there early and found parking available in there car park (surcharge for 24hrs) which was on the property so very convenient. Had a great stay and will come back to this branch if I come to Swindon"

"Hotel location, atmosphere, spa and room were nice. Reception staff - lovely. Bar/Restaurant Staff weren't rude but didn't seem bothered with actual service. I counted 10 dirty tables as we walked into the restaurant area, they were still all cluttered 90 minutes later. After waiting for table service for 15 minutes, I found a member of staff who asked to me follow them to the bar rather than serve us at the table, for no real reason than their convenience. We were approached once and asked whether we wished to order food but no one came back to ask as after that so we gave up. No one was rude, but no one really cared whether we were there or not. Spa was lovely and all the staff polite and engaging."

"This is a beautiful hotel, set in lovely grounds. They have a fantastic chef- all the food was absolutely delicious. I am a vegetarian, and they had a good range on the menu for me. I stayed in a large executive room, with two lovely windows. The staff are exceptionally attentive and helpful. They set a desk up for me in my room. I have no complaints at all and will certainly return."

"Very enjoyable stay, while away on a business trip and the room was nice, clean and tidy. Amenities were great and the location was stunning. Excellent food and a relaxing environment. Highly recommend."

"Our room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. It is easy to find and staff were very nice. There is very little parking so keep in mind you have to park a few minutes away but can unload in front of hotel. We used the Waterloo lot! It was $10 a day. We didn’t do breakfast because it was $35 L but there is a nice coffee shop next door!"

"Hotel grounds and building grand… bed rooms tired need a refurb, carpets crawly… bathroom clean and had been refurbed. Room was not serviced. Staff at reception low energy. Staff at breakfast much better, buffet breakfast average …. Bacon left to cool in sauce pan with fat accumulating … consider ala carte it could have been so much better …. Overall 2 nights served its purpose but was expecting much more so disappointed "
