I have stayed at dozens of hotels in OMR. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever in OMR. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine, I would like to specially thanks to the front desk staffs as well as dining staffs specially Mr. Sameer SK who is very friendly and caring nature to all of its diners.

The good: the reception staff are nice.
The bad: I needed to meet colleagues in the lounge. The Aircon was not switched on so it was too hot for the meeting. The WiFi keeps disconnecting so I ended up paying for network data. The pool is very very small - only one lounger. The gym is treadmills and some dumbells. The food wasn't great and there wasn't much selection. The listing says there is a bar. The bar does not operate. They don't even have an alcohol licence...
Just really disappointing, especially as I had arrived from the Sheraton in Mamalapuram which was excellent. There are much better hotels in OMR. I suggest the Vivanta. I regret trying the Sheraton.

We had to leave the hotel because of a strong mold smell that caused my wife severe breathing issues. Even after being moved to executive rooms, the problem persisted. As a result, we had no choice but to book another hotel and pay again. Since we had reserved two rooms, this resulted in a double financial loss.
Marriott is losing its customer centricity, it seems to be a global phenomenon. It has become a common observation. I have had better experiences with other hotel chains atleast in this year.
The service at this property has been extremely disappointing. They currently have one manager handling both Fairfield and Four Points Sheraton, which has resulted in the food service being combined—breakfast at the Four Points building and dinner at the Fairfield building. Because of this, the restaurant areas are poorly maintained; tables are often left unclean, and guests are made to wait just to be seated.
There are clearly staffing and/or training issues. I ordered dinner around 5:00 PM and only received it at 9:30 PM after multiple follow-ups. This is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a Marriott property.
I genuinely regret using my Bonvoy reward points for this stay, especially after speaking so highly of the property during the summer.
( I used my Bonvoy points to book, but I’m leaving this review on Expedia because my extended stay was through them.)
The service was very poor. There were no towels in the bathroom when I checked in. Asked for a plate, spoon and knife to be sent to my room and it took them about an hour to deliver the plate and spoon and I never got the knife. this after repeated follow up. The room was good. Very clean and well maintained. Parking was convenient. Gym was really good.
