"From Mateo, Mara, Hugo, Victor, and the entire wonderful crew and staff - we thank you and love you all for your hard work, dedication, and commitment. You made our stay truly unforgettable, and we're so grateful for the care and warmth you showed us everyday. The food was A one perfection -though the portions could have been a bit bigger. However they don’t limit you on what you can order- so I understand the meaning behind it all- preserve and don’t be wasteful. They have a variety of food and It’s not a buffet so it makes it all even better because then you know the food is made fresh. They have a variety of options - don’t be afraid to ask, Everything else was restful and peaceful, made even more special by the surprise from my fiancé. The views were beautiful, and it was so easy to get around. It was just a short ride to Playa Norte with a golf cart, and Dolphin Discovery was a great experience too. We can't wait to come Back."

"Robert and Carlos were warm and welcoming. Our room was clean, the AC cold, and decor was nice. I felt like I was truly in Mexico, instead of a bland hotel. Nina, the dog is very cute! It was a peaceful retreat from the noise and bustle of Playa Norte. I also cannot say enough good things about the pool, gorgeous view!"

"We knew this wasn’t typical all-inclusive hotel, but the meal service kept changing during our stay. First, breakfast was a buffet, then it switched to a menu. One day the service was perfect, the next day it wasn’t. We couldn’t use the beach because of the large amount of seaweed. The rooftop pool is for adults only. The kids couldn’t enjoy the view. Our vacation wasn’t bad, it was just good."

"The locations and vibe is amazing. It’s a perfect spot to relax. The food is limited there are three restaurants on the property and a food truck but it felt like we had ample options and they’re very accommodating. Would totally recommend for a relaxing getaway. "

"Everything about Maria Kan Kin’s was amazing! We had the Romantic Suite which was upstairs with a large deck and a gorgeous view! Lily, the manager was wonderful! The restaurant, Loretta’s has some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. The beach is fairly small but pristine, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. You can order food and drinks from the beach. We truly cannot recommend this hotel enough. It made our stay in Isla Mujeres absolutely perfect!!!"

"The location and views of this property are absolutely amazing, as the hotel sits on a 20 foot cliff Oceanside so you have constant breezes. You can climb down the rocks and get in the ocean and if it’s not too windy, you can get in the water as it is a rocky area. Online pics are likely old when the previous owner was operating it, it has substantial wear and tear and needs some love:) Shared kitchen is ill equipped, we bought a coffee maker for our large group of 10. The AC seemed to work fine in all the rooms, although temps were mild 82 was the high, and we opened our large windows at night and did not use the AC. Our rooms were clean, but we had to maintain them on our own. There were no staff present during the day to do any room housekeeping. Manager was available & fairly responsive via text. One staff was present 9 to 5, he spent the entire day on his phone, sweeping sand off the decks areas and occasionally dropping chemicals in the pool. He did empty the trash from the common areas before he left in the late afternoon. He was under utilized and could be doing so much more to bring that place up to where it was. The pool was pretty cloudy the entire eight day stay and we addressed this concern with the manager, he said they shocked it, which I’m not positive about:( they are obviously on a shoestring budget by all appearances. It would be nice if they had on-site manager that lived in the apartment and then it could be properly cared for & maintained "
