Bukit Peninsula Trip

Room we were in was behind area where maintenance is done so could be quite noisy in the morning. TV reception very poor and kept freezing- annoying when trying to watch a movie.

Although The staff is extremely kind and accommodating. The villas have so much privacy.

The Sankara Resort & Spa was a nice quaint resort. While it was in the jungle, it was misleading on the Expedia website when it was said it was only 34 minutes away from the Bali International Airport. That is completely false. It was an hour and a half drive away from the hotel. Next the room was satisfactory and as advertised; however, there was a stale/moldy smell inside the room. I'm not sure how old the establishment is or their general maintenance of the place, but that made it somewhat uneasy to breathe at times. The staff were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. They did everything they possibly could to make sure you were happy and satisfied. The spa service was a little too costly, but my discount was applied to my bill since it was offered when I booked on Expedia. Overall my stay was pleasant and amenable. I would stay there again, but it would be nice to see some upgrades in decor and in the upkeep of the place even though it was very clean from beginning to end. Slightly noisy though due to construction next door and also the other upstairs guests weren't being very neighborly.
