When we recieved a message from the hotel owner, Mr Zimmerman a few days when to say there had been a mistake and we should not have been able to book a room on this day as the hotel was closed

Lovely spacious adjoining rooms for our family of 4. Nice and clean, very comfortable (although no AC so a little warm).

Fabulous basement room perfect for a family of 5. Only 1 window but didn’t bother us at all. Bonus frog family who came to visit outside the window at night!! Breakfast was great, staff extremely helpful. Parking secure and. Good location to explore Cologne.

This hotel is very accessible, with tram station nearby. There is a supermarket and dm in one minute walk. Staff are lovely and helpful. I didn’t have breakfast there, it costs €16. Overall it’s a lovely hotel.

The hotel is centrally located for all of the places of interest in Cologne. The rooms are excellent , spacious and well presented. Highly recommended.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg.

I booked this hotel because it was the best value I could get at a very busy time in cologne due to the Trade Fair, Photokina, being on. I had initially wanted a place to stay nearer the trade fair but as it turned out I picked a great hotel. It was only 15 minutes by train to the fair so no big deal and the hotel was above my expectations in comfort and value. I just stayed here for one night as I was passing through the area at the start of my holiday. Very friendly staff and being a family run business I was allowed to place my motorcycle in the family garage.

This hotel ticked all the right boxes for me. It's a 10 min walk to the main train station and the amazing Cathedral (Gothic at it's finest). 2 min walk to the river. Very quiet location. Always felt safe at night. Staff friendly and happy to offer advice on sights to see/things to do. Breakfast was excellent, room always perfectly clean. Bathroom small, but ok, and very clean.
