Lovely hotel situated in a not so lovely area. A lot of noise from bars close by. A lot of drunk people around the area. In fact when we were there, a drunk man entered the hotel and for no reason attacked the reception staff. Guest from the hotel restrained him and police were called!!!

Let down by snags.
The overall experience was affected by the snags in room. The bath would not drain away as the stop had become stuck and needed someone to fix that. Reported this before 8am and yet on return to room it had not been dealt with. Had to report to reception again and within five mins someone came to sort it. Window latch was broken and so did not shut all night. Had reported this also then reported again same as bath. That was fixed after they fixed bath. There was a very sour smell from the bathroom sink after water ran a few mins.
