The welcome at this Hilton was not as expected to be honest. We were early to arrive, however when I enquired if I could check I was the room wasn’t ready but if I wanted to pay £20 an hour I could check in!! There was no welcome to Hilton etc The bathroom was tired and teeny tiny. The beds oh my days how lovely they looked after a long day but the mattress so hard and I like a firm mattress. Staff at breakfast could do with a customer service course snappy and clearly not happy in their job. The hotel was busy but no condiments on tables no salt or pepper etc not what is expected for £200 plus a night. But that said had a good time in Birmingham great location for Utilita Arena and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Taxi service from out front was also super easy.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They really make your stay special. The hotel is in a great position for the sights, shopping and restaurants. The room s are very cosy, clean and have all the little extras you need. (hairdryer, iron, bottled water)

I wanted a place to stay close to the Utilita Arena, and this hotel was spot on… Friendly staff, clean and adequate rooms and facilities, along with onsite parking (albeit limited - I pre booked), made for a great stay that met my needs… Will definitely use this hotel again…

Perfect hotel if you are attending a concert at the Utilita Arena...literally a 5 mins walk. Really convenient bars and restaurants also a 5 mins walk away. If you fancy a stroll into town it takes 25 mins max. Perfect!! With parking available under the hotel it really is a totally stress free option.

Friendly service. Really convenient for sealife centre and Utilita Arena (5 minute walk). Loads of bars and restaurants. Very quiet location. It a nice 25 minute walk from Birmingham New Street station.

My stay
unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room was unbearably hot, and to make matters worse, the air conditioning was not functioning properly. This made it extremely uncomfortable, especially during the night. Additionally, the refrigerator in the room was not working either, likely due to the excessive heat. This rendered it useless for keeping any items cool, adding to the overall inconvenience. I had hoped for a comfortable stay but was left disappointed. I urge the management to address these issues promptly to improve the guest experience.
