I loved everything about this hotel. After speaking with Tamsyn for several months, she (and the rest of the staff!) made sure my visit was exactly how I wanted.
The food was spectacular. Hats off to the chef.
My massage was wonderful, as was the tour of the house. Highly recommend for a perfect experience. Thank you to everyone!

Absolutely amazing. Very clean and spacious. The lodges are spread out inside a small park. Looks more like a botanical garden. They even have a pair of swans and a small pond.
The roads are mostly gravel for the last kilometre so you’ll need to drive carefully, especially if it rains.
The cafe is only opened in the morning for breakfast, so you’ll need to drive to get lunch and dinner. Or get an Uber, which is quite cheap. The Oakfieds shopping centre is less than 3 km away. You’ll find a few...

The Saxon is one of the great hotels in the world. Elegant, discreet, very secure, it is a joy to be there. Outstanding architecture with spectacular interiors. I have returned to it over the past 12 years and look forward to our next stay.

We had a really lovely short stay at this hotel at the end of our time in South Africa. As a group of three our room was very spacious including having a little living room area and a balcony. The hotel itself is beautiful - it felt very clean and modern. And the staff were so lovely and helpful.

We paid Expedia the full amount for our Deluxe Surcharge room on booking and were informed that our reservation was booked, that there there was no need to re-confirm and that our room was guaranteed for late arrival.
When we got to the hotel around 9 pm on Easter Monday, after a 9 hour car journey from Durban we were told that there were no rooms available for the first two nights; that we would be taken to a four star hotel elsewhere out of Rosebank for these two nights, and that we would...
