"I decided to surprise my husband with a trip and booked Jumeirah Saadiyat Island for a week for his birthday. My oh my!!! The hotel exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond to make it a truly memorable trip. They had a birthday cake, balloons, cookies and a basket of fruits set up in our room on our arrival with rose petals on the bed. We also landed early morning around 8am and got to the hotel around 9am. Check-in wasn’t until 3pm, however our room was ready at 10.30am and we were allowed to check-in early!!! Always a plus. The room was amazing, we had the garden room which was super spacious with easy access to the pools and the beach as it was located on the ground floor.
The staff were all very welcoming, kind and caring. The hotel focuses a lot on sustainability which is great and we were given beautiful complimentary bottles upon arrival to use around the hotel. Breakfast was top-notch, so many different options and cuisines to choose from, you will never get bored. I would like to highlight that there is a deposit to be paid upon arrival and it was about £800 for 6 nights (which you get back providing you didn’t break anything in the room), just a heads up for people who are not aware as I was not aware. The deposit is calculated based on the number of nights you are staying for.
The beach!!!! Where do I even start?! The beach was the highlight of our trip. Super well maintained, soft sand, clear warm turquoise waters.
