The surrounding area is very new and there is a nice riverside walk you can reach via the mercedes benz arena. In short, this is a great place to stay ! "

The breakfast buffet was huge and delicious with many western and eastern options. "This hotel is in a fantastic location (thanks to the staff for sending a map, it is down the darker end of the street), super close to East Nanjing Rd and the Bund. The person at the desk upgraded us to a bigger room as we had to wait a while to check in. The room was indeed bigger than we'd booked and very comfortable, just with some open steps up to the bed that were a little scary in the dark! Everything was fine for us as a cheap one-night stay in Shanghai, no issues. Free bottled water was...
