"We were in town for a family wedding at the Mississippi River Museum/Aquarium so this was super convenient location. What a beautiful old original hotel! The hotel Julien is a landmark and has kept the old timey feel BUT with such classy renovations for modern comforts. The room are spacious and clean and the hallways are so quiet! Doors close tightly without slamming! We ate at Caroline's 2x and enjoyed the Riverboat Bar 2x as well. Wonderful staff everywhere we went. It was heaven."

"The check in was easy and quick. The staff greeted us as soon as we entered the lobby and it was so clean. The food was amazing and the bartender (Will) was especially attentive and made sure that we knew our way around. The adult beverages were very tasty and completed our evenings. The location was perfect for meeting with family and close to the highway. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back. "
