"We loved that our room had been renovated so had modern decor, fixtures and fittings. The beds were the best we have found on our travels. Shower pressure was fine. There's a supermarket across the road. We would certainly stay there again should we need to be in Blenheim."

"Quirky accommodation (converted caravan) which wasn't what I was expecting. Friendly, helpful staff. Distance from bathroom facilities a bit of an issue during the night. Very noisy with loading/unloading from the wharf - especially on a still night. But for $80 a night one has to be pragmatic."

"Pros: -Great location, super quick walk from the ferry and cafes -friendly atmosphere -good sized private rooms with sink -nice garden area for relaxing -great value for money Areas for improvement -people were quiet but the nature of the building means if anyone arrives late it’s quite loud due to the wooden floors and thin walls -kitchen wasn’t well equipped - no baking trays, foil, salt/pepper, which was a bit limiting if you want to cook for yourself. "

"Interesting - no one there to check in or out. Just left key on counter for us. Nice and clean room, small and basic, but that’s all we needed for a short overnight stop. "

"We arrived and promptly welcomed by Arianne with a cup of tea and carrot cake - lovely touch. At the end of our day's walk, the hot tub was very much appreciated. Facilities are great. Best of all, Arianne and Victor are the best hosts. We will recommend to friends and would certainly love to return."
