The hotel was centrally based in the Opera within a couple of minutes walk to the Metro and was extremely convenient for travel by taxi, metro and on foot. A taxi from Gare de Nord was less than 10euros.
Thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the Millennium Paris Opera for my honeymoon and my wife's birthday. The staff were both helpful and friendly. When the desk clerk discovered that we were honeymooning,he had champagne and sweets delivered to the room. The building and the room were both very clean and possessed a charm that we very much enjoyed and expected .Our first night we dined in the hotels restaurant and enjoyed an absolutely wonderful meal with knowledgeable wait staff who showed me the benefits of Cognac on steak tartare. We would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay while in Paris.
If you are interested in shopping, especially at Galeries Lafayette and Printemp department stores, closer to subway and restaurants, and at a reasonable price hotel, this hotel is perfect for you. It is 15-20 minutes walk to Galeries Lafayette, Opera, Louvre, and 3 minutes walk to subway station. In September, I spent $260 for a one bedroom, one living room equipped with a couch that has two single beds, one full kitchen with washing machine and dish washer, plus 1 full bath room and another bathroom with toilet and sink. It is comfortable for a family of three. But it is accommodating for 4. This price and location is comparable cheaper than New York City. There are studios and other room types available at the hotel.
Lovely, clean hotel close to all that the Opera district has to offer. The staff were efficient and welcoming. The rooms cleaned thoroughly every day. Very handy for transport links to the rest of Paris. I will definitely return next time I am in Paris.
