"Quiet and spacious rooms, great pool bar and area"
This place is very attentive to you, the pool bar is the best I have come in contact with, they even have 6 TVs with NFL Sunday Ticket, the Big 10 network. The bar staff is very courteous and they don't mingle too long with the customers which is a good thing, they don't fool around behind the bar either. I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel which is rare. The only suggestion I have is to get a Disney Bus for the hotel or a shuttle to Downtown Disney bus area.
My experience at the Villas of Grand Cypress was wonderful. On the first day that we arrived there was someone to assist us with our luggage and show us around our villa, which was great because the space was very modern and we may have not been able to figure out how to use the fancy shower without his demonstration. The shower had about 4 knobs, 1 for temperature, 1 for rain shower, 1 for the body (which causes the shower to leak if you do not stand in front of it when it is on), and 1 for the hand held sprayer. There was also a television in the mirror! The common area of the room was fantastic and there was plenty of space. Overall the villa was very clean with minor signs of use that you would find at any hotel. The pool was great, the bartender "Sonia" told us about all the other free things that we could do on the property and at the sister property The Hyatt Regency which is across CR 535. I also used the gym which was well equipped with multiple types of high end cardio machines.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations in every way. We were there for a short getaway. The staff was professional, courteous, and very attentive to our needs. I am especially impressed by the kindness they extend to their handicapped guests. The atmosphere was very peaceful, the location is great, the scenery is beautiful. Everything was so convenient that we did not leave the hotel until we checked out. The food was a bit pricey, but well worth it. We look forward to staying at this hotel again. Thumbs up to Rosen Shingle Creek!
