All the staff were great! We had no complaints. We had a great quiet experience.

I had a great time on this trip. I was traveling with friends and family and everyone had a great time. The hotel was shutting down for a remodel 2 days after we left, but they were operating at peak efficiency. There was no degradation in service or amenities. I have stayed at several Riu properties and the brand has consistently met or exceeded my expectations

Overall our experience at Wyndham Grand Cancun was excellent. Reading some of the reviews we were worried that we booked the wrong hotel to stay in. The staff was excellent and the food was really good. The beach did not have a lot of sargassum and was really nice. Yes the property is dated and does need some visual updates but I'm not here for the aesthetics. AC kept up and we slept nice and cool. My family enjoyed there stay and would recommend it.

Beach and pool was amazing! The rooms were very clean but very noisy! We were on first floor and heard all activities from the lobby. Music people cheering .

All staff are very nice，everything was great.it’s just that there’s room door has a problem, every time we can not open the room door, when we change the room key, sometimes can open, sometime can’t open, so we need to change the key again and again.

The hotel itself is beautiful. We first visited about 10 years ago, and they have done a wonderful job remodeling and maintaining the property. Everything was clean and well kept, and the food was good. Unfortunately, the service did not meet our expectations. While a few staff members were friendly and helpful, many seemed unwilling to assist and did not provide the level of hospitality you would expect from a resort in the service industry. We traveled as a group of 12 and were excited to return after speaking so highly of our previous experience. Sadly, we left disappointed. We were told the hotel was only operating at about 30% capacity, yet there were multiple occasions where we were turned away from restaurants because we didn’t have reservations—even though the restaurants appeared nearly empty. Overall, the property itself is beautiful and worth visiting, but the lack of accommodating and welcoming service took away from what could have been an excellent experience. I hope management addresses these issues, as this resort has so much potential to provide an outstanding guest experience.

The resort was very nice. It does need a little upkeep in spots but overall a 4/5. For the most part, the staff were friendly and helpful. We did have an experience at checkout that left us feeling discriminated against, however, it was one staff member. Otherwise a definite 4/5 stay overall.

The hotel entrance, layout and restaurants were very nice just wished the rooms were a bit more updated and a.c working better than what it actually was
